Food Resources While SNAP Benefits Are Delayed

Some Langlade County households may be experiencing interruptions to the SNAP benefits. This disruption is affecting access to groceries and increasing food insecurity across the region.
In Langlade County, around $450,628 in Food Share benefits help feed 3,157 of Langlade County residents every month!

The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin has started a Formula & Food Insecurities Fund to provide rapid support to ensure local families have access to essential nutrition during the government shutdown and related disruptions to federal food-assistance programs. Grants will be directed to nonprofit organizations in Marathon, Lincoln, Langlade, and Taylor Counties. This fund will supply infant formula, nutritious foods, and household groceries to help families stay healthy and fed.
